As part of our granton:hub herbals series this Monday, July 15, we will be in the hub with Claire also running kids activities. Join us from 6-9 pm at the hub.

If it’s dry, the session will be a mix of tending to the herbs in the garden and discussing their uses and cultivation, and then heading inside to make remedies. Lots of folk have been interested in remedies for all those summer bites and stings, so we will be making ‘bites and stings’ balms together, and depending what’s ready in the garden maybe some soothing creams as well. We are hoping that the wonderful ‘Fork in the Road’ bike trailer kitchen will also be down putting together some delicious food to share too!

Please let us know if you want a free place on this session and whether you will be bringing kids along too. Please bring along a small clean sterilised jam jar and clothes appropriate for the garden.

Visit our Facebook page to keep up to date on events at the hub.

And sign up for the monthly granton:hub enewsletter to get the latest buzz from the hub — information on community activities will land right in your inbox no more than once a month.
