Are you interested in singing for pleasure? Do you enjoy harmony singing? Have you always wanted to sing but think you can’t? Come along and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of my Natural Voice singing group. The group is open to everyone regardless of musical ability and is really about having fun singing in harmony! There is no pressure to perform or learn the songs by heart: come along, experiment with different styles of music and try out your voice at different pitches without worrying about getting it right.
Weekly classes starts 9 May, costs £4 – £16 (individual classes or 4-week course)
A workshop for people who would like to write songs but don’t quite know how to start! This four week course will help people over that stumbling block and will cover writing lyrics, working with rhythm, developing a tune and adding harmony. We will work together on creating songs that come out of your own experiences, experiment with several musical genres and use an 8 track recorder to help our song development. You don’t need to be able to read music in order to take part, and you are very welcome to bring along a musical instrument.
Weekly classes run 6-27 May, costs £8 – £32 (individual classes or 4-week course)
