We are pleased to announce the full programme for the craft fair and workshops on Saturday the 27th of February:

Passion Earth:Looking for upcycled, handmade, eco-friendly and fairtrade gifts?  Then we are IT!  Passion Earth specialises in peerless, handmade products fashioned out of recycled fabrics to create a chic finish.  We also showcase several imported, handmade and hand-drafted products that occasionally use recycled material to enhance the product range.

Vintage Remix: Sheet music, vintage vinyl, books, stamps, magazines and all manner of vintage emphemera upcycled into a range of retro homewares – including clocks, bowls, pictures and furniture

Edinburgh Tool Library: the UK’s first tool library, promoting sharing as a way of reducing our environmental impact.  We lend our members tools for DIY, gardening, decorating and machine repair, so that they don’t need to own them.  Not only does this collaborative approach make sense environmentally, it also helps our members financially.

Changeworks:  will be offering a FREE drop-in workshop allowing you to try your hand at making accessories from bicycle inner tubes.  They will also provide advice on recycling services, re-use and charity shop information.

Upcycled World: will be running two workshops (below) and a stall on the day, see their website  http://upcycledworld.com/

Tamsin Grainger: a local maker, who crafts beautiful bedspreads and bags from upholstery samples that would otherwise have been thrown away by shops. https://www.facebook.com/tamsincrafts/

Another talented local crafts person, Seonaid Cooke, will be offering a FREE drop-in crochet workshop where you can learn to crochet attractive accessories in minutes.

Come along to the craft and upcycling fair which is FREE.
