This walk, led by local historian Kenneth Williamson, will commence at the Red Bridge (grassy area at the crossing Ferry Road and West Granton Access, see map).

As participants will walk along the path, Kenneth will deliver a detailed history of the old Caledonia Railway line. A confort stop will be offered at Craigleith shopping centre. The walk will continue along Roseburn Path to Murrayfield.

A 16 page booklet will be e-mailed to all participants before the walk, giving the factual information of the walk.

The walk will take around 2 hours at a leisurely stroll. Participants are advised to arrive 10 minutes early (10.50am) at the Red Bridge. They should wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring their own refreshments.

A maximum of 15 tickets are available.
