Laura Lees is hosting The Mighty Stitch Embroidery Workshop on Friday 19 August, 10.30-2:30pm
£45.00 per person.
Laura will begin with a short introduction, then dive straight into playing and making, to create personal designs from scratch, from using a range of supplied templates or if participants bring along pre-sourced ideas. She will steer the group and provide machine training so that everyone can produce their bespoke piece with confidence.

Don’t let your skills inhibit your imagination, complete beginners are welcome as well as the experienced, just bring an open mind! There will be an abundance of fabric and templates for you to choose from to create your embroidered appliqué as well as threads, trims and tricks of the trade.
Laura Lees studied tapestry at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee and made embroidery a central tenet of her varied artistic, commercial and collaborative practice. Her clients and collaborators include Giles, Luella, Sibling as well as her own fashion label and interiors clients across the globe.
