granton:hub would like to invite individual artists and makers, as well as artist collectives to use Madelvic House as the location for hosting a visual arts workshop aimed at children and/or adults. Examples could be a drawing or painting class, a craft session, a recycling workshop, jewellery making, printing, photography etc.
Granton:hub will offer access to the (large) Sphynx room at a fixed rate of £27 for a full day, which represents a near 50% discount on the current room hire charges.
In addition, access to the community garden or the history hub’s extensive archive can also be arranged for the session. The option to organise an art exhibition will also be available by separate negotiations.
Any workshop activity should be managed by the artist who will be able to charge their own (reasonable) participation fee for this activity.
granton:hub will promote the event on its website, social media and newsletter.
