At granton:hub we care about the community and about the environment. 🌎 It matters to us that the vegetables kindly supplied by Edible Gardening Project at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh for our community pantry are transported in a environmentally friendly way. Therefore, we were delighted and grateful to have Sustrans Scotland involved in the partnership by supplying an electric cargo bike to transport the produce straight from ground to the hub. 🚲

We wanted to share the process with you and the video below by Sustrans Scotland really gives a insight into the process and demonstrates when people come together to do good, good things happen for the community

We are very grateful for all our partners & volunteers that make the community pantry happen ever fortnight at granton:hub. The next community pantry date in January is tomorrow, Wednesday 20th between 11am-12pm, providing free fresh and chilled food.
