Granton:Hub Community Garden is excited to welcome you to its spring Native Wildflower Plant Sale on Sunday May 19 from 11am to 2pm.
Taking place in the community garden at Madelvic House, the event provides a perfect opportunity to contribute to wildlife in the city by picking up a plant our two from our huge selection of wildflowers, such as the terrific Sea Campion pictured above!
Suitable for gardens, window boxes and outdoor spaces small and large, everything has been grown on-site by our volunteers in partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
As well as an opportunity to receive expert growing advice, there will be the chance to have a go at making planters from waste material with the Edinburgh Scrapstore, which is based on-site and also open for the day.
With a selection of refreshments available, the garden is also hosting live music, and there will be a pop-up exhibition of work by artists from Granton:hub’s Painting For Pleasure workshops. A selection of paintings will be up for sale too.
It’s going to be great fun – we can’t wait to see you there!
