Granton:hub hosts its annual general meeting (AGM) at Madelvic House on Monday November 26 at 6.30pm.
A great opportunity to meet us, find out what we’ve been up to, ask questions, and offer suggestions, the agenda for the evening will include a report on granton:hub’s activities from chair Wendy Wager, as well as an update on our finances from treasurer Jonny Nicol.
For the first time, each of our sub-groups will also be bringing us up to date on some of the highlights of the last 12 months. In addition, members will have the opportunity to nominate and elect our board of trustees for the next year.
It’s always really inspiring to hear about the great work being done by other volunteer-led community charities, so we’re very pleased this year to welcome a guest speaker – Will Golding, chair of Bridgend Farmhouse.
Similar to granton:hub, Bridgend Farmhouse have made it their mission to transform an old building into a sustainable local centre and events space – in their case a once-derelict farmhouse near Cameron Toll. We look forward to learning more about their fascinating journey.
With the evening concluding with cheese, wine and conversation, we very much hope you can make it along!
