We would like to invite you to come along to Storytelling:Hub event on Sunday 20th December, to experience some great storytelling and music, in the setting of a specially created installation of sculpted lanterns and stars at this historic building.
The magical light up stars have been made by local children working with facilitators Janis Hart and Wendy Wager to express their wishes for the future. The stories and music will be performed as part of the interactive installation.
The event, including a wee drop of mulled wine or hot chocolate with a mince pie is FREE!
It’s a family friendly event, which is part of the Granton:Hub series of art and local history events being held at the potential new arts venue Madelvic House, in Granton Park Avenue. We would very much like to find out your views on these kind of events for planning our 2016 programme.
The storytelling and music performances and viewing of the installation will start at 4pm, Sunday 20th December, and will then be repeated at 5pm.
If you would like to come along, you can book for free using the eventbrite booking facility.
Places are limited, so do book soon.
Unfortunately, due to the fact that we do not have ownership of the building yet, the venue is not fully wheelchair accessible. But if you are a wheelchair user (or have other access needs) and would like to come along, please get in touch with us at madelviccommunity@gmail.com to discuss what we can do to make the event as accessible as possible.
